STENJEVEC
The neighborhood Stenjevec is located on the western part of the city of Zagreb. It has over 50,000 inhabitants and according to the average age, it is one of the younger districts. Two thirds of the area are urbanized, the eastern part is predominantly of a residential character comprising of Špansko, Malešnica and part of Stenjevec. There is a complex of shopping malls in Jankomir, around Škorpikova street.
Stenjevec has 14 elementary schools, and there is also the Lucijan Vranjanin Gymnasium.
The main connections to the city center are by bus and tram.
The average asking price of the apartment for more than 1,000 advertised real estate (Njuškalo, February 2016) is between 1,150 euros and 1,300 euros, while the square meter of a house is more favorable and the average asking price is from 700 to 1,000 euros (Njuškalo, February 2016).
Compared to the city center (Donji Grad and Gornji Grad - Medveščak), where the price is much higher (average 1,900 euros m2), the prices in the area of Stenjevec are much more accessible.
